Replacement Probe for OMEGA-Z

The Replacement Probe for the OMEGA-Z is a gold-plated miniature probe (model 711P) designed for convenient microelectrode impedance monitoring in electrolytes. Engineered for use with the Omega-Tip-Z™ system, it supports impedance measurement in etched tungsten, platinum-iridium*, steel microelectrodes, and electrolyte-filled micropipettes. The meter’s AC impedance-measuring circuit is unaffected by electrode offset or tip junction potentials, ensuring accurate readings. An integrated electrode tip cleaning feature allows quick removal of buildup, and the system can also measure DC electrode tip potentials up to 2000 mV. Designed for long-lasting use, the OMEGA-Z operates for hundreds of hours without battery failure.
