Path Microscope Simple Phase Contrast Kit

This simple phase contrast kit is made for use with the 505857 Inverted Trinocular Microscope system.
Simple Phase Contrast Kit
Benefits of implementing simple phase contrasting:
This light microscopy technique introduces optical techniques to improve the contrast of images, particularly transparent and colorless subjects, such as living cells, microorganisms, and thin tissue slices. Phase contrasting allows for the observation of intracellular features that would be difficult to view using a standard microscope setup.

Background Details
Phase contrast objectives can be used for conventional bright field, but the image quality will be slightly lower (due to the integrated phase ring in the objectives). To use the objectives for bright field, remove the phase contrast filter from the condenser
Phase contrast microscopy might not be preferred if you wish to view the natural coloration of your subject matter, or if you are observing stained tissue—*the natural colors overlap with the differences of brightness that the phase contrast optics produce.
