• The innovative design of the WPI Mouse and Rat Stereotaxic Instruments provides users with the ability to perform surgeries on both Mice and Rats on the same base. The WPI Mouse and Rat Stereotaxic Instruments includes a warmer ready base, 100 micron 3-axes, left-hand manipulator arm, separate rat and mouse adaptors, dual-sided (18° and 45°) rat ear bars, triple point mouse ear bars, and corner clamp probe holder. Available as dual, ultra-precise, digital or motorized.
• NEW FEATURE: The ONLY stereotaxic instrument on the market with an integrated warming base included on all units! Simply purchase the Temperature Control Box 1 (505375), or Temperature Control Box 2 (505376) and probe (505377) to use the warming function.

Options

Like the WPI Rat Stereotaxic Instruments, the WPI Mouse and Rat Stereotaxic Instrument line has larger laser engraved vernier scales (accurate to 100 um), 80 mm of ventral-dorsal, medial-lateral and anterior-posterior travel, absolute lock at 90° ventral-dorsal and brass-bushings for electrical grounding. It is available as a digital or motorized model.

Warmer ready base

Stereotaxic Base Plates are designed to be integrated with a warmer system (sold separately) and are used to maintain body temperature throughout surgical procedures.  Thermal heating pads are embedded into stereotaxic base plates to avoid cross contamination with easy clean-up and maintain a sterile environment during stereotaxic surgery. In addition, it can be used as a general warming system or with a rectal thermal probe (sold separately) for homeothermic regulation.

Ultra-Precise Manipulators are ideal for use in mice and rats where high-accuracy positioning is required. Up to 80mm of travel is available in all directions with up to 90° angle adjustment in either the anterior-posterior or medial-lateral planes. Ultra-Precise Manipulators are compatible with all our Stereotaxic Instruments line.
