WPI Stereotaxic Holders and Components
Standard Probe Holders include an 11mm square acrylic block connected to our standard 19.5cm standard shaft (6mm diameter) with grooves spaced 1 mm apart. The grooves (on three sides) facilitate loading of probes.
The Standard Probe Holder-Corner Clamp (505249) holds shafts from 0.2 to 2.0 mm. The Standard Probe Holder - Side Clamp (505250) holds probes from 0.2 to 4.5 mm, as does the Electrode Holder, 'C' Clamp (505252). The "C" clamp is also useful to release implanted probes.
The Standard Probe Holder-Corner Clamp (505249) is included with each WPI Rat Stereotaxic Instruments has an 19.5cm shaft with 11mm square acrylic block, as well as the Probe Holder Attachment (505287).
